Everything was great!

Small little park just outside of Talkeetna. Easy walking distance to the downtown area, which is filled with of shops and places to eat. The park is good enough for a night or two, however the spots are small and everyone is right on top of each other. As for the bathhouses, the showers, sinks and toilets are all in the same room. They were clean enough, but not “clean”. Be advised they charge for showers, $3 for 4 minutes and $6 for 8. They do have a change machine. Maybe this is an Alaska thing, but charging someone who is staying at your park is pretty crappy. Not to mention the times are ridiculously low. Honestly doing laundry was less expensive than a shower. 🤔

It was easy to find. Very friendly at check in. Easy spot to back into. Free dump station so we could dump upon arrival. Very quiet even though it was full. Close to downtown we went twice. Clean bathroom.

A decent little spot. Kind of crammed in. No fire pits allowed. Bathrooms/showers are gross but they are open 24 hrs which is a plus. The proximity to things is nice. All the campers there were friendly and the camp areas were clean.

Pleasant site but pitches close together and not enough restrooms so always a queue. Noisy trains sounding horns at 11.10 pm and 5am each day.

Tightly spaced, no picnic tables/fire pits and right next to the train tracks so you will get some noise. BUT easy walk to town and K2 Aviation if you’re doing a Denali flight. Bathrooms were pretty disgusting at times and lacked often and thorough cleaning.

Great location and the staff is very nice as well . I didn't get his name but he does a great job maintaing the campground as well !

The site was larger than I had anticipated and the person that checked me in was very friendly and helpful.

Checkin and hook up was a breeze, even though we got there after hours. It’s within walking distance to all the sites in town and we even got to walk down and watch the sunset over the Susitna River with the mountains in the background. Caught the train and took a day trip as well. Nice restaurant/bar next door with great staff and funny cook. Staff at campground was enjoyable to visit with as well.

Staff are always friendly and the campground is always clean. I have not had any issues with other campers which i cannot always say about other places. It's a short walk into Talkeetna proper and I recommend the Burger Barn! I have stayed here three times now and plan to return.

The campground is very small. I paid for a pull through site and we had to unhook because it was such a small spot. When I spoke to the office gentleman he said he would be glad to refund my money -10.00 because he could the spot with no problem. The train and plane noise were loud. Would not recommend this place.

Convenient place to stay. Our site was big enough and level. Bathrooms and laundry room were kept very clean. The showers were too expensive $3/4 minutes. There should be a discount for campers staying in the park.

Overall it was okay. The pros to this campground is it’s clean, close to town, great staff, pet friendly, and hookups. The cons is you are really stacked on top of each other if you’re in a standard site, no fire pits at the sites (theres a communal fire pit), you’re directly in front of the train depot so it’s very loud, and it stunk due to campers in full hook ups.
