The Crossings Campground — Reviews

It served our purpose real well. We were visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We had to move because the sewer was dug up by a gopher. We were acomadated very well and I'm satisfied. Not 5 stars because no shade. A good place to stay if you are in the area.

Dumpster was overflowing. I would rather see smaller road base in the site’s than the larger Rocks . Need a long water hose since they’re on the opposite side . Electric box is located at the rear of the site.

Fireworks at night were annoying

We reserved two sites at the Crossings to confirm that we had places set aside after a hard day of traveling. The campground was very easy to find and access. It had full hookups and each pad was level, graveled, easy to back into and had enough room between the spaces. There were no shower facilities which was not a problem to us. The actual park was pretty stark and unimpressive, with no trees or picnic tables. We may have missed it but we could not find a trash dumpster either. Bottom line: it did what we wanted for a one night stop.

Close to the National Park. Basic campsite. No table, grill or restrooms.

There are thistles growing all on the site! Better be careful. And, you have to practically lay on the ground to hook up to the water faucet. And "crossings" must mean rr crossing & getting woke up by the train whistle.

Decent full hook-up campground. No frills but our site was level a. Close to all parts of Teddy Roosevelt NP which is why we were here. Didn't spend much time at the campground. There is no office. Reservations and check-in all done online.

No host, rough lava rock dumped on grass (hard to level), not even a picnic table nor fire pit. Looked like mostly long timers there. Location was good though.

Would have like to see more services offered.

Quiet and well maintained

NO internet. Had to drive 15 miles to get it. Very quiet and peaceful. GREAT hot showers! Very clean bathrooms. Store and Cafe on-site. Staff very friendly. Very reasonable rates!

We had cows in the back pasture, quiet, and close to services. Spots were huge . No amenities as advertised and we didn’t need them. Right price for what was used. Would use again if in the area.

Very basic place to park camper. Would be nice to have picnic tables

Lighting, power, inconsistent water and sewer.

Only needed somewhere to bunk down for the night and campsite served the purpose. Could done with a mow to keep the mozzies down but everything else was OK. Close enough to the town to walk to restaurant. Cheap enough and was able to book instantly via campspot app .
