The location just along the river was nice. The restaurant was a slice of heaven after a long drive through Yellowstone. As for RV sites, it was a very tight and tiny shared spot (literally backed into the neighbors yard) . Our 24' RV barley fit. Lack of a restroom/shower was a bit of a downer. The property was well maintained and was very relaxing. Not bad for a quick overnight stay. Would have been disappointed if we had a lager RV or planned on staying for multiple nights.

Unkept, our camp spot was so undeveloped you couldn’t even safely backup or pull in. The grass, I’m referring to grass you would find in a field, was over a foot high. Other than a post for electricity and water, it was a vacant, undeveloped lot. We could not get our van in the spot that we’re charging $120 per night so we didn’t stay and went down the road to a wonderfully maintained campground called the Ponderosa that was only $55. I plan on requesting a refund from the Historic Wapiti Lodge. WARNING this camp ground looks nothing like the pictures posted.
