The Oasis was our first stay on our journey after Hurricane Ian. We are full time RVers from Ft. Myers, FL and were looking for a small place to start.
The park mgmt., Jason and Karen, are the best. They genuinely care about everyone in the park, as many are full time residents. This park is an all ages park and it is on a 2 lane highway with a fair amount of truck traffic. Sod, citrus, watermelon, cattle, ginormous power poles, shipping containers....we watched it all go by. This is a country campground, so limited amenities and things to do.
Will say this though, every person whom we met that were staying there, was kind, friendly and always had a wave for us. We were treated like family from the beginning.
If you are looking for resort amenities and fancy things, this is not the place. However, if you want to just have a place to do nothing and actually just camp, this place is it.
