Loved the campground. It was wonderful. Clean well kept. Great for kids and pets.

Nice campground if you want a place to camp while making day trips in the area. It is ideal location to the Mackinac Island ferries. We walked into town for dinner 1 evening. Used Campspot to make the reservation and had no complications there. Only downside was the size and location of our site. Almost too long and truck was almost in a private driveway. Did not see or talk to any campground employee the 3 days we were there except when first checked in and that was over the phone.

The spot we got was not made to fit a 40 ft 5th wheel and the power kept going off. Spot 78 is very slanted. The park looks nice with many level sites (not the one we got) but we not once saw an employee or talked with anyone that worked there.

Nicely laid out campground, convenient access both to I75 and to St Ignace. Clean facilities, nice and quiet.

Easy check in process. Good price. Close to ferry and lake.
