I enjoyed my stay at the campground - the people were friendly, showers were hot, the wood supplied was dry and ample for a good fire. All in all it was a pleasant stay. The campground hosts were very responsive to any need I had which was a blessing!

Very clean, super friendly and attentive owners, close proximity to downtown and good restaurants. The RV we rented was spacious and well-equipped with almost everything we needed for the weekend.

The campground is in a great location on the Ahnapee State trail and very close to the town of Algoma on Lake Michigan. Enjoyed our time exploring the area. Our campsite was decent for our 40 ft. RV. Luckily we had a gravel driveway but it could be wider. The owners were very accommodating and have done a lot to improve the campground since they took it over 2 years ago. There are ponds and a sand beach besides a nice pool and playground. They also have mules, goats and a peacock. At this time you need to purchase wifi. Although we did not have a sewer hookup the dump station was easily accessible.

Excellent stay at Timber Trail campground. The owners, Eddie and Jen are fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, and they have made so many awesome improvements. We had a back and site by the ponds, and the views were amazing. The location is perfect. We were able to enjoy all of Door County, but come back to our tranquil camp afterwards. We will definitely be back!
