Timberland Campground — Reviews

First and foremost, the owners were absolutely wonderful—genuinely kind people who clearly care deeply about their campground. I was impressed to personally see one of the owners thoroughly cleaning and bleaching each bathroom, which truly reflects their commitment to cleanliness and guest comfort. She was warm, welcoming, and easygoing, which made our family’s stay all the more enjoyable. My kids especially loved the pool and playground—it was a fantastic experience all around!

This was by far the nicest, and cleanest campground my wife and I have stayed at! The bathrooms were super clean, and the owners were in there every day and into the evening making sure the bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless! The site we had was very clean and we had electricity and water hook ups on our site. I highly recommend this campground to everyone!

A beautiful spot for a campground, very neat tidy and clean, lovely river walks and the most friendly and welcoming owners who made us feel that they would have done anything to help us. And a couple of golden retrievers as well. Perfect!

Campground was clean and in a great area. Staff was very friendly. This was the second time we were there. I would recommend it. Can't wait to go back.

The owners were top notch. I had an issue when leveling. They assisted me with out any questions and attended our site to ensure that we were able to get everything set up correctly

Good spot if you have little ones. Camp ground was smaller than we thought and we were very close to our neighbors but the place was well kept. Bathrooms were clean enough to shower and use the restroom. 8 mins for 50 cents showers was okay. $7 for a 5pk bundle of wood which is a rip off but I get it. River was very high so no swimming but the pool was nice and clean and pretty warm. Slept on the sites closest to the road and just would not recommend if you went camping to relax and maybe even get some sleep. The busy road didn’t stop all night and it was very disturbing. Overall not terrible but wouldn’t stay again and if we did, we would make sure to get a camp site on the river side. Could have been worse/better.

Owners were so friendly. Campground is pretty. Sites were nice, not too close together. Only down fall is a train comes through once in a while.

Employees were top notch!! Ground were very clean. People were very nice 🙂

The staff was amazing and so eager to give the best tips on where to go and what to see. The only reason I left off a star was the area was much louder than expected for rest prior to long hikes. There’s a train track and the train goes wizzing by at 10:30 PM and 12:30 am, the road was close to the tent sites and you could hear every car on top of noisy campers yelling past quiet hours. As long as you are prepared for that this campsite has everything you will need and is in a great location!
