We walked through the campground, and you have several older units that detract from the overall experience. Being this close to Champaign with fall weekend games, you should take advantage of this. We went to Project 47 Smokehouse. It was excellent —a good recommendation for your guest.

Thought it was a great stay- nice campground. There are some year round attendees and those sites are a little unkept. Overall nice campground close to Champaign..

Nice little park just off of 74. Grocers not far away. A nice bar "It'll Do" that has good food. Also a forest preserve.

The receptionist was pleasant and helpful when I called saying that we'd be arriving late. She upgraded us to a pull through which ended up being great since it was dark and raining when we arrived. Thanks so much!

The bathroom was disgusting. My husband, who never takes issue with "rustic" accommodations, would not shower in it. Our rig was literally about 3 feet from the one in the lot next to us. The family running it are very nice people and, from the show of flags, patriotic and grateful to our veterans.

It was a nice stay at the Tin Cup. We were staying and visiting U of I for our daughter and it was an easy drive there. The front of the campground is nice for those passing by or staying a few nights like us. A lot of grass, fire pits and picnic tables. The spots were very tight though. Barely enough room to put out an awning and chairs in between RVs. Would consider staying again if needed though. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Paula, the camp coordinator, was so friendly!! But….our site was small. No trees. No fire pit. The tiny grass area where our picnic table sat was completely bumpy & weedy. The restrooms needed updated.

Women's bathroom door was broken and bathrooms were disgusting. We left after one night and moved to a different campground.

good place for an overnight. they have made some nice improvements with picnic tables and fire pits out in front of the pull thru sites. wish the pads were more level, a bit challenging to get a good level . but not that bad . wish they would do something about the wifi, you have to sit on the office front porch to get reception and signal.!!!!

We like the Tin Cup when visiting family & friends in Champaign. This time there was an issue with our selected camp site and the site lock fee we paid to secure it. Each reminder from CampSpot had us in a different site. Upon our arrival we were assigned yet another different site. Four site changes in all. The Tin Cup staff refunded our site lock fee in cash. Why offer the site lock option if Tin Cup is going to move folks around to achieve the greatest number of RV’s? Our site, number four, power pedestal had an issue. Our electrical management system/surge protector shut down the RV supply indicating an open ground on the 30 amp outlet. Moved to the 50 amp plug utilizing a 50amp to 30 amp adapter and that worked fine. We reported the issue to Tin Cup staff and they said they’d check it out.
