Great and convenient

Nice clean park and very quiet. It was just what we needed after a long day of driving. We were 10 minutes driving from a good meal too. I would highly recommend!

Tin Cup has proven to be a reliable place for our overnight stays whenever our travels head south, all year round. We’ve stayed in all 4 seasons and never had any trouble with getting our large 5th Wheel in or out of the pull through FHU sites in front, all with functioning water and electric, even during the coldest days of winter. Easy access to/from the highway, many gas/diesel options nearby and a variety of great restaurants within minutes.

Very nice manager. Very nice place. Well kept, quiet and clean.

I just had one problem, we came into Tin Cup around 5:00pm and sun had set and it was really dark I could not see the driveway entrance because there was no lighting or entrance delineation. I understand it may have to do with city regulations.

Arrived Oct 13 in the Rain. Site we were given was Muddy and not level at all. Had to insert over 8” of blocks Uber the front wheels to make the Motorhome level. Never used the Fire Ring. It was located right under a Pine Tree. You figure out why I did not use it. We moved to another site out front after several day. Second site was leveled better but no Fire Ring Sites in front are way too close together.

We were not impressed, paid extra for specific site but when we arrived the lady in office moved us to a site without fire ring, picnic table and right next to other campers, WI-FI also wasn’t working. We stayed 3 days but couldn’t enjoy our site & spent most our time inside. Would. It go back for free camping. The lady who checked us in didn’t seem friendly at all & her older man sidekick was useless.

Avoid pull through full hookups. You cannot put out an awning, slide outs are over water lines. Grass is too long. Rules are not enforced. Neighbors dog off leash. Dog feces not picked up. Dog barking after quiet time.

Ease to book online after hours while traveling.

Easy in. Quiet. Close to places to eat and University of Illinois. Clean. Have been there before and will go back.

Tin Cup RV Park has always been clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed there a few times. It is quiet and peaceful there.

Called to say we’d be late check-in and woman very nice. Said she’d leave our site # and directions taped to door. Good info on map. After dark our site area numbers were harder to see from RV, so had to backtrack. Level pull-through. We just used electricity. Office closed in the morning.. my partner hoped for coffee because her coffee maker just died that morning. Maintenance man said new park owner is planning to add more 50amp sites.
