There are a number of reasons. First of all we arrived without a reservation on a Saturday night although I did phone ahead to find out there was a number of spaces available. When we arrived at the office, there was no one available so we had to search for someone. Eventually, we found someone and paid cash, but there was a mixup and we were initially asked to move. It was sorted out, which was fine. They were very helpful and pleasant regarding this. I think the main reason I did not like to stay is because of the bathrooms were absolutely the worst I’ve ever encountered on the six weeks of travelling this summer. They were hideous. They did have one main building at the entrance you could walk to and it was a bit of a far walk, which was much nicer and required a code. Personally I think they should clean their bathrooms up. As well, it would be nice if there was a phone number we could call if no one is in the office. The campsite itself was decent although most people were there just to sit around the campfire and do nothing which is I suppose with a lot of campers enjoy. Personally, we like hiking and outdoor activity. It would be nice if there was a bit more information regarding the trails available. For $40 per night. I think these requests are reasonable.!
