Troll Valley Campground — Reviews

site was ok with you have your own camper with bathroom and shower if not the bathroom and shower was gross. Smelled like mildew, there was mold on the shower curtain, water was lukewarm at best. Only was shower was in use unless you like to shower in the dark. There were NO PAPER TOWELS TO DRY YOUR HANDS at the sinks. They also moved my spot that I reserved and there was no power there and I needed an adapter to plug in. I ran 2 extension cords to an empty camp site and had my own adapter so I would have power. I will not be going back.

We had no water most of our stay. Also we were informed with one week left in our reservation that there would nt be any water for rest if our stay that we could stay if we wanted with just electricity yet no refund was given not even a partial refund

Nice little campground with a disc golf course that is pretty challenging. Hilly to get around in but quiet and peaceful. We would stay there again.

Big rigs be warned. Gotta go to the top of the hill when you get here to check in. It's a short but taxing climb. Then there's the turn around at the top. 37' with a MINI Cooper Toad and it was tight. Sites... Well the few they have are okay. Nothing great and gonna be tight for bigger rigs. Looks like they've added sewer and 50A service to places. But it's just 50A there are no other amperage connections... The site had not had grass but in a while there was almost 12" of weeds around the sewer connection. I was here for 2 weeks. They never cut the grass. There was a broken down VW Bus, a couple of sites with OLD worn out tents still on them, a broken down popup camper and even a old boat with a tarp over it.....

I used my gps to get to this campground, the gps wanted me to turn into someone’s driveway. I found what appeared to be the camp ground but we hesitant to drive in because I wasn’t positive it was the wound. Turns out it was, I drove in and up to the office (which was a bumpy, narrow driveway.) I chose a drive in lot because i do not have a lot of experience backing the camper up. I wasn’t impressed by the “drive in lot”. I was concerned about the drive in lot when I checked in because none of the lots looked easy to drive in to. The man in the office told me to just pull it behind the picnick table. It was in between two other campers and there was no way I was going to get in. I drove around and found a spot I felt comfortable backing in. I called the office and asked if I could have a new spot and they very kindly let me pick any spot I wanted. I did get the camper backed in and I actually liked the spot I chose. It was quiet and private. But this camp ground really doesn’t have anything to offer other than that.

We were given a spot that was in dire need of mowing and maintenance which was next to an old boat that appeared abandoned. The bathrooms were not clean and we could not rinse our sewage pipe after dumping as the water was not turned on.
