Trout Creek Campground — Reviews

This is easily one of our favorite campgrounds and this was our first visit here! From the cleanliness of the bath house, the pristine grounds, a beautiful creek, absolutely wonderful and welcoming staff nothing can beat this place. They went above and beyond delivering our firewood to our site, making sure we were comfortable and truly treating us like family. And a fantastic job on all of the fun Memorial Day activities they had planned. We couldn’t leave without booking our next stay with them. Thank you to Courtney, Michelle, and every other amazing staff member we had the privilege to run into a spark up conversations with. We can’t wait to come back!

It was amazing! This was our third time there and our favorite campground by far!! The owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and the grounds and bathrooms are always clean. We love our Trout Creek “family!”

Everyone was very friendly. It was a quiet, relaxing spot. We liked that it was off the beaten path but still able to go to a store within 15 mins if we needed something.

Beautiful and remote location. Just after the hurricane and the site was full of sand. Hard to keep clean inside RV. Very nice and accommodating hosts. Wifi signal is very weak and no cell service in the area so hard to communicate

It’s very nice and quiet you’re not around anyone else that’s camping. The only thing that I would say needs to be changed is the mattress’s in the downstairs bedroom. They are a little uncomfortable. But the people that own it are great and it’s very clean and well taken care of . It was my husbands birthday and our anniversary we really enjoyed it. See yall next year

PLEASE READ! The 5 star rating is based on the fact that the campground provided everything as promised. Things you must know before booking this campground. The campground is in a valley (thus the creek) BUT you will need to go up and down the mountains to get to it! The road to the campground switches between paved and stone. Once you come around the bend to the campground, it is a wonderous reveal to find a peaceful, family-friendly campground. The owners are available (at least during my visit) on-site to assist as needed. The creek is soothing and relaxing. There are showers and laundry facilities, and RVs can have full electric, water and sewer hookups! It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle which means that if you want or need to shop or enjoy "night life" you will need to plan to drive a generous distance. There are some great restaurants and shops nearby in Glenville and, a little farther in the same direction, Cashiers. There are waterfalls along hiking trails and scenic overlooks along the roadsides. The High Falls North trail entrance is only about 2.2 miles away. Be prepared to walk for one to two hours, depending on your pace, in the end the need to climb up and down some boulders, and to walk for that one to two hours back to the start.

Peaceful setting. Quiet, serene, and welcoming. We have already made plans to return!

We had a great time. Such a beautiful campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our tent site next to the creek. Our kids loved the playground, creek and pond. You can't beat August temps at 78 high and 63 low.

Very Peaceful, friendly people. Campsite was amazing! Situated on the Creekside. Very well manicured and clean. We will definity return.

Friendly staff. Nice place. They even had a slow wifi to hook up to. Overall very good.
