Two Rivers Campground & Tubing — Reviews

Enjoyed our stay over Labor Day. Campground layout was not ideal. Very crowded and hard to get into and out of. There was an insane amount of flies. No mosquitoes. Great options for amenities. Everyone was very friendly. The pool was great. Love that it’s on the river as well. Needs more public bathrooms though.

While more expensive than some other places, the experiences, the location, the expertise and attention of the staff really is remarkable. There are such a variety of things to do. We look forward to returning!

Very clean and nice campground. most of our stay was during the week and it was very quiet. Our spot was steps away from the Mississippi river where we saw bald eagles, deer, heron, and geese. Great small mouth bass fishing too!

The staff was great, almost all super helpful and knowledgeable. The grounds were kept up nicely, except for the mini golf, which would have been fine if not for the fact that we had to pay to play on a course that, to put it nicely, has seen better days. We did not get to try the tubing because the water level was low. They updated the website to let you know about the water levels, but as a guest with a reservation, we were never told; we just happened to look on the website. Lastly, the flies were out of control. I understand camping comes with bugs, but we couldn't open our doors or windows, nor could we sit outside for at least three days of our week-long stay. It was not just our site, but also the mini golf and pavilion. The location is beautiful, and the river view was lovely. Might try earlier in the season before the flies get bad again.

We had teenage boys that followed my 8 year old daughter telling her they were going to beat us up/ she was so scared crying etc. it was 1am in the morning didn’t see who they are….

Clean campground, friendly staff, well run

Loved it! Will be back. I was so impressed with the staff too. Every single person was so nice. We had beautiful spot right along the river.

We love this campground and will definitely be coming back. The only improvement we would like to see is a later check out time from 11am.

The stay was Ok. We were far away from all the activities and walking up the hill was difficult. It would be nice to have some activities down on the lower level or at least provide rides to the top for people who have disabilities.

It was a Great family and pet friendly place to be. Lots of fun things to do for the kids and relaxing place for parents to enjoy!

Great campground! Very clean, nice staff, and campers. Booked over the Halloween theme weekend and it did not disappoint! We will be back for sure!

Two Rivers is a family campground. If you're looking for family fun in Minnesota, this is a great place. The tubing is more fun the less you weigh - I will leave it at that. lol It's a lot like a KOA or other family-oriented campground, but without the KOA baggage. There is a jump pad for anyone willing to try. The mini golf looked fun, but I travel alone so it's not much fun alone. There's the standard Hunt Brothers Pizza offered on site with a few extra items that can be delivered to your site. It's decent pizza, and it was delivered with some firewood. Great service. They recently added a honey wagon (pump out) service for those by the rivers. I had P9 - a narrow, but nice spot on the Platte River side of the peninsula.

Campground was really clean, with lots of great amenities.
