This is a great area to be in. We keep going to the front office to let them know we will be staying for another month.

The camp ground was clean and well kept. The spaces were wide enough. The pool and activity center were clean and in good working order. The dog areas were clean. The laundry room was clean and the machines worked. We were in site 115 and we have no complaints.

Everything was great but they only have 8 bathrooms and 2 we're out of order the whole time we were there 7 days. Soap should be added to the water for floors. Never seen them anywhere clean. 😳 other than that it was a good place.

The resort was much better than I expected. My wife, our nine-year-old son and our dog stayed there. We had cabin 310. It was perfect for us! The cabin had a very efficient layout, numerous outlets just where you needed them, plenty of linens, soap, shampoo, very nice kitchen. There was a small living room area, dining table for four, an outdoor picnic table, and a bbq grill. The cabin was incredibly clean when we opened it up. Our daughter and her family of six stayed in cabin 323. This was the first time we had traveled with our small dog (15 lb) which we've had less than a year. So up until now, I never paid much attention to the pet friendliness of other places we stayed at. For this resort, all I can say is WOW. There is not only a dog park with two separate fenced enclosures, but there are numerous doggie "toilet stations" located around the resort. Each one has a bench that you can sit on while your dog does its business. And each one has baggies and a disposal receptacle. They look like little mini putting greens. There were a lot of people out and about with their pets while we were there. All were on leashes, 6 foot long, and all the pets and owners were quite friendly. There is a really nice clubhouse. It has a pool table and shuffleboard table indoors. The interior is fairly large. There is a nice covered patio with tables and sofas off the back of the clubhouse. We had a lunch on this patio one day while our kids played in the swimming pool and tried out the two hot tubs. The pool is fenced and is fairly large. The maximum depth is 5 ft. There are lots and lots of patio lounges, chairs, and tables. The deck is quite large and accommodates a lot of people without feeling like you’re all crowded together. There are other recreational facilities at the resort which we were aware of but which we didn’t make use of. The grounds are very well kept up. The roads in the park are very nice and the areas around the cabins and RV spots are covered in medium sized gravel. I think the resort may be fairly new and so there is not a lot of mature vegetation. However, by our daughter’s cabin there were some large mature trees. The kids rode their bikes on the roads and also rollerbladed. The roads are very smooth. The resort appears to be very safe. I noticed that there were children out riding bikes, etc. not always with a parent hovering over them. I was very comfortable with our son and grandkids there. The quiet time starts at 10 pm and noise was never a problem, night or day. On the property behind our daughter’s cabin is a small waterway called the Verde Canal. The kids played a bit there. It was kind of like having a creek behind your cabin. But just off the property is the Verde River with a nice walking trail (dirt, not paved) parallel to the river. I, my Grandson, and Son-in-Law fished there in the morning and my son-in-law caught a small small-mouth bass (I believe it was). Later that morning everyone else came down to the river and played in the water. There was even a rope attached to an overhanging branch that the kids swung out on over the water. The river at the time we were there (May) is a slow moving, shallow river, not exceptionally wide, maybe 45 feet at the widest where we were. When we left the river, I noticed a family (including children) getting ready to put small kayaks in the river to do a float downstream. I took my own fire pit, but I think you might be able to rent them there, not sure. The second night we all did hot dogs over the fire pit and later marshmallows and smores. And after that we just sat around the fire pit enjoying the evening. We broke it up at 10PM out of respect for the other campers and the rules. I only interacted with the staff when checking in and checking out, but they were very friendly and informative. They seemed like they enjoyed working there.

Everything from the spacious RV sites, pet pee areas throughout the resort, the beautiful clubhouse, unground pool area, dog park, fully stocked store and fitness make this one of the best RV resorts in AZ. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Verde Ranch RV Resort is wonderful and is located near Sedona, Jerome, and Cottonwood. There are various types of sites to accommodate every type of camper. Not to mention they have a gym, clubhouse, game room, a pool, in addition to weekly offerings such as yoga, mobile dog grooming, and tie-dyeing. (We did take advantage of the yoga with Tanabeth while we were there and it was absolutely amazing!) Verde Ranch's customer service is also wonderful! They are incredibly technology savvy and send you all of the information you need prior to check-in (wi-fi and bathroom passwords, site number, a schedule of weekly activities, etc). We definitely plan to stay again in the near future.

Camp sites were clean and level. The resort common areas are very nice. Every day there were activities that we could participate in. We forgot something at our site and called when we got home. The resort is sending it to us. Very good customer service

For the amount of money we paid for our spot, no table, no fire ring, both cost separate fees. Paid an extra $40 to hold our spot but all spots were exactly the same. The bathrooms were ok at best for being brand new. The store didn’t carry everything you’d expect for camping. Prob wouldn’t return here. Feels like someone with not much camping experience opened up a camping resort
