Verde Ranch RV Resort — Reviews

We were disappointed to arrive the first night to our RV spot with the rented fire pit there but no wood that was supposed to come with it. The front office was closed when we called at 6:30pm (they close at 5) and when we called the after hours number, there was only an AI service, which was no help. As a result, we weren’t able to relax by the fire like we wanted. There were several piles of dog poo, both new and old on our site that we covered with rocks to avoid stepping in it. The next day, after coming back from a day of hiking the fire pit was gone. When we called the front office and asked about it, we were told they took it away since we didn’t tell them we’d be gone for the day and they didn’t want anyone to steal it. Thankfully, since we called the front office before they closed, they delivered the fire pit, again with no wood. Fortunately we bought our own wood in town earlier that day. The showers stay on only for 30 seconds at a time, requiring constant button pushing to get a full shower.

This campground is always a pleasure to stay at.

The RV spaces are big with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the camp sites. The pool and spas are perfect way to unwind from your day. The park club house has everything you need with a lot of games for the kids or the kid in you to enjoy. The park is very beautiful well kept and very clean.

Huge park. Clean but loud. HWY noise is constant. Tons of kids. Spots have space but back in spaces are not level and on #2 rock which honestly will shift. Great location. Water pressure is a mess. I used my regulator to knock down almost 80psi. Again, huge park with huge water demand probably drives that PSI. 4 bathroom/showers shared by over 100 sites...hmmmm...

The resort is beautiful and well maintained. I gave four stars because of its location so close to the interstate. We purchased a premium deluxe site and it backed on to the interstate, the noise is constant.

A place that truly has it all ! We had a blast and most definitely will be back - whether you are staying long term or just for the weekend, the resort truly felt like a resort ! Kid friendly, dog friendly, people friendly !

This was the maiden voyage for our new RV’ing experience and if all RV resorts are like this, I like it. Staff was courteous and friendly. Park and facilities were top notch and clean. And with the amount of campers in the resort, it was quiet at night. I would define recommend this to anyone visiting AZ along I-17.

Very clean. Great amenities and layout.

The availability and location of the tiny homes or cabins is excellent. The accommodations were clean and the basic needs were present to make this a comfortable option for visiting with family camping at the resort . We did have a challenge in getting the heating to work consistently, so unfortunately we ended up chilled in the middle of the night. We borrowed a small space heater from a family member in the area for the second night to help meet the need for heat in the middle of the night to morning hours.

Always enjoy easy hook ups

We loved the campground and community of camp verde. We were treated well everywhere we went and always felt safe. We appreciated the amenities and hospitality of staff. It was fun spending Christmas at the resort. Set up was smooth, site was level, and we have zero complaints. 10 stars !
