Village of Standard Campground — Reviews

Wasn't able to get ahold of anyone to ask questions, the number posted didnt work. The grounds weren't bad but the people next to us let their dog run loose and didnt clean up after it.

The spot was too small for our trailer. No other sites available. Please refund our payment. Thank you

It was clean, well maintained, and the city worker that I talked with was very helpful.

I was looking for a quiet place, this was perfect! Also timing probably was as well as it was first day of school, lol, and I was on vacation. Facities were great, grounds were well kept, and it was very peaceful!

This is a great spot with just a few campsites. The town has a lot of historical plaques to read and is easily walked. Needs better signage for dump station and doesn't seem to be any potable water access.

It is a very quiet area. I enjoyed my stay but in certain areas of the park when it rained it flooded. My trailer was sinking in the water and I didn't have the means to fix it so it felt like it was going to tip over. But everything else was so nice

Weather was poor. Site was good. Everything was very close and convenient. However, there were lots of mosquitoes and flies. The folks in town were wonderful and welcoming, and when we required assistance everyone was willing to lend some knowledge.
