Walnut Hills Campground and RV Park — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
One of the most picturesque campgrounds we have been to. We only stayed an overnight but will probably come back again for a longer stay to explore this area in VA

Few things you need to know before making plans for this place! One if they put you on any site from 302 to 320 it’s like camping on the side of the street !! Couldn’t put awning out all way, The sewage pipe was to high. So if your camper sits low??. Bathroom smells / Dirty. So no I wouldn’t recommend it For a stop overnight !

Need to finish the septic issue and would be 5 stars. Love our weekend , it was peaceful and loved seeing all of the kids have fun.

This campground was so pretty and peaceful. It was perfect when a momma deer and her 2 babies went romping by. We’re so glad we stayed here. The people who worked there were awesome

It's a beautiful campground! I do have a suggestion.... could you possibly make one of the ladies shower stalls with safety rails in it? I'm 69 and had a hard time taking a shower in there. I'm sure I'm not the only one with limitations. That's the only "fuss" I have! Please and thank you!

Nice clean area, clean restrooms, friendly service. Quiet hours of 10pm to 8am were a little too long and something like 11pm to 7am would have been better.

A lot of amenities, activities and a very helpful staff! It's more of community living than isolated. So if you're looking for privacy with some space between the next campsite, this is probably not for you.
