Great Host, very large clean sites , great views!! Very peacefull!!, fun hiking Biking trails

Everything was done online... spot was available when we arrived, so checked in online. No issues. Park Host was on the premises and drove around a couple times a day to check on everything, didn't need to bother her, since it was all fine.

Site 22 is near the Interstate kinda noisy and very secluded from the rest of the campground. We had a sketchy truck come up and stop at our camp site and hovered around it was a little unsettling. We paid for another site and moved. Nice campground, but pick a different spot then number 22.

Site 8 was nice and quiet

The stay was great , only noise is some highway noise. private, clean bathroom. The camp host is outstanding and knows the area very well. A very nice lay over campground.

We really enjoyed it there and the scenery was beautiful and very peaceful

Clean, nice campsites, great host, perfect location

I love this park. It is safe and conveniently close to the highway. It offers many trails to walk your dog or just yourself. There seems to be some construction underway which will only make it better as far as the amenities, which are adequate and clean. I always connect with the camp host Lisa, who is partly the reason I always stop by. She is cheerful and welcoming. She always makes sure you have what you need.

Traffic was noisy on the last night cuz of clear skies an cold

Nice little county park with a very helpful host. Lisa called us before we arrived to offer us a different campsite that would be more level and easier for us. Dry camping just North of Interstate 8. Easy on/off. Perfect for our overnight stay. We will be back.

Friendly camphost. Quiet and scenic park.

If this clean campground with large sies in a gorgeous setting had running water, it'd be a 5-star destination. Electricity would be nice, too, but even without it, it's a solid 4 stars. Camp Host Lisa took the extra time in advance to contact me to suggest a better site than the one that I'd chosen online, and then contacted me again later to make sure I'd checked in and was satisfied - an unusually high level of customer service. Granted, i eas there on a Saturday night when their current construction project was taking a break, so I didn't have to put up with the noise and dust. Had I been there during the week, my rating would likely drop.
