Wild Vines Campground — Reviews

Staff was amazing, and made us feel very at home there. The winery onsite made for a super relaxing stay and they even were making wood fire pizza and had music to enjoy while just sitting back. Been a while since a vacation felt like a vacation but this place was a treat!!!!

My two young kids and I were hard up on finding a 1 night weekend stay when we found Wild Vines Campground. They were able to have us stay in one of their wooded lots. The wooded lots were quite buggy when we arrived. After setup and getting lathered up with some bug goop the bugs were better but still around for sure. The live music on Saturday was a good volume from the campsite, loud enough to hear but not overwhelming for casual conversation. The tent pad was a solid "ok." There was some fill with mulch but it was level enough to not be problematic from that perspective. There wasn't a huge amount of "play" area and it is definately more geared toward adult campers who wanted a wilderness retreat while also having wine/pizza available. Solid 4/5 for what it was, for my purpose i probably would rate 3/5 but that is more my fault than the campgrounds's fault.

Booked a group camp site, was still too small for 2 tents. Lots of poison ivy near the camp site. Grate over fire ring not secured so in order to cook we had to prop the grate on logs. Probably a great place for glamping, but I don't recommend renting it.

It's fine. It gets the job done. I don't know that it's worth twice as much as a state campground, but when Wild River is full, it's a solid back up option. $8-9/bundle of firewood is downright ridiculous. If you plan to eat/drink at the winery itself, be sure to check their event calendar. You can hear the live music from the campsites - which if you're here for that vibe, great! If you want the quiet of nature, not so much. Wood fire pizza is only some days. Tastings are expensive for the 1/2 oz. you get.

We stumbled upon such a cool camping spot! Family friendly vineyard and wine tasting, beautiful scenery and friendly service. Only downside is that the rv camping spots are tight for large camper.

Very peaceful nice camp sites and great hospitality

My wife and I chose to stay at Wild Mountain Winery to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It was the perfect setting. Quiet, great food and drink and close to several great places to hike and explore. We both agreed we would definitely consider coming back.

We had a great time staying here! Delicious wine tasting, great music and yummy wood fired pizzas! It was unique camping in the Vineyard, we really enjoyed it.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the winery listening to live music and spending time with friends. We loved the multiple options for seating, the pizza was delicious, the wine options were great, and we will definitely come back again. We originally planned on camping overnight, but had to leave unexpectedly to handle a situation at home. We look forward to coming back to enjoy the full camping experience!
