The group primitive campsite was well liked by all of us 5 families. It is mostly private and you have the site to yourself. The staff is friendly and helped with taking out stuff up to the site. A suggestion would be to have more lights on the way to the bath house which would help after dark.

Thank you for the great review! We’re glad your group enjoyed the private primitive site and that our team could help with getting your gear up the hill. We appreciate the suggestion about adding more lighting to the bathhouse path—it's helpful feedback. We hope to host your families again soon!

It was a nice campground but hard to get to because so far out there and the roads are not completely fixed yet. Also not much to do besides the river.

Thanks for the feedback. We’ve worked hard to restore the campground after Hurricane Helene, and while the roads are outside our control, we share your frustration with the delays. Many guests have had a great stay despite the conditions, and we hope you'll consider visiting again as the area continues to recover.

Very difficult to get there because of storm damage. Issue with dumping station which they graciously remedied.

Thanks for your review. The area is still recovering from Hurricane Helene, and while access can be challenging, we’re doing everything we can to keep the campground welcoming and functional. We're glad we could quickly resolve the dumping station issue and hope to see you again as recovery continues.
