Winding River Campground — Reviews

Very nice campground. Has a mix of busier more social sites and quiet/more private sites. Lots of stuff to do and downtown Exeter is a few minutes away. We will definitely be back

Everything is clean

Great staff, wonderful site, loads of activities!

It was a quite spacious site.

Nice and quiet. Well shaded.

The washrooms were disgusting, especially the showers, which were full of mold. We were also disappointed that the arcade advertised on the website was closed during our stay. It was one of the reasons we chose this campground, so it was frustrating to find it unavailable.

Second trip to winding river this year. Tried calling their office, the store and all the other numbers there, left numerous messages over 2 days, not 1 returned call. This happened to me earlier in June. No return calls. They need to upgrade their phones systems, and or train their staff .

Loved the campground, but communication was non existent. Called on Saturday and Sunday , left several, messages. Not one returned call. Called the office, called the camp store repeatedly,no answer or return call.

Very nice place, quiet and peacefull. #313 was perfect for us with our 40 feet RV with 20 feet trailer. I recommand this Camping.

Big campground, spaces are big and private. Quiet.

Its a great place nice facilities

Nice campground, well maintained. A small inconvenience with the laundry machines, but a laundromat just a few miles away. It was a great location for us in our travels to Boston and Salem Massachusetts..

Great stay, nice campground, clean facilities, looks like a very fun place for the height of the camping season. We went at the very end of the season so the pool was closed, store was getting bare.
