Winterset RV Resort (Age Restricted 55+) — Reviews

There was several reasons: 1. Our spot was not on the map 2. Office was closed for weekend with no note of who to contact 3. No WIFI info given 3. The electric didn't work and there was no dump at our site 309 4. When calling the only number we had, the call lady said it didn't sound like an emergency, but she would pass on message 5. Thankfully a man called back and told us to move to another site and gave us WIFI password. Everything after that was fine. Very clean and quiet. People in community were friendly.

Nice atmosphere and great amenities . The community is very friendly.

The bathrooms by the pool were luxurious. The park had a lot of activities that people of all ages could participate in. The staff and even the people staying there were friendly. The camping area that we stayed in (which was the small loop by Frog River) was just lovely...there were some trees and it felt very cozy. The only thing that could have been better is that we had trouble getting wifi from the campsite so when I wanted to do work, I just went over to the main building and plugged in there. I would go again. And you can rsvp last minute as long as you are bringing a trailer and not a big rig.

Quiet location, very friendly people, and a good location.

People were friendly. Park was well maintained. Pool was clean. Price was fair. We only stayed 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

Great little established community! Has all the activities that you can hope for. A little river and kayaks. Very friendly group of people! Reserved a month for next year!

Nice park, lots of friendly residents and many activities available. Very convenient to Sarasota and Tampa as well as Bradenton.
