Wood Lake RV Park and Marina — Reviews

I get if you need a beach and have a boat this place makes some sense. Otherwise I found it very crowded and the sites did not have much space, our slide was less than 2 feet from our neighbours awning. Most people there love the heat and they spend most of the day out on the lake most people in this camp site are looking for a place close to their boat. If you do not have a boat I think there are better options in the area

Good location and amenities. Our site was very narrow for a larger unit.

His campsite was clean, easy to find and friendly. We are 50-year-old couple who booked here and this is very much a family campground with lots of kids so this is why I’m giving in a rating as it was not appropriate for couples, in our opinion.

Clean quiet campground. Pleasant, friendly, helpful staff.

Nice and clean place and verry friendly staff.

Very noisy at night. The sites backing on the road near the entrance are incredibly loud and my kids woke up frequently at night. Would suggest that area is better for boat parking and shift the sites to where the boat parking is. Beach isn’t very usable since it is boxed in by the marina and the beach campsites are full of families. Makes it awkward since the people in beach sites are a few feet away.

Because I had to leave 2 nights early and you guys wouldn’t give a return.

Idyllic campsite at the shoreline of Wood Lake, Highway is nearby, and, even better, Turtle Bay Pub is nearby as well ;-)
