Woods-N-Waters Kampground — Reviews

Hard to distinguish roads due to leaf coverage. Sites need more attention to determine road from actual site. We also had an issue with our 5th wheel. Called number for campground to ask if they knew of anyone. "Dan" asked how was that his problem. We just wanted a possible name of someone who might be able to help.

We had a great weekend! Everyone we encountered was very friendly. We felt very safe there and our grands loved the playground and basketball court. Loved how it felt like a campground and not a camper parking lot.

Office was closed when we arrived around 2pm. Campground was overall clean. Lots of full time campers. Stayed for one night, would stay again for overnight or couple of nights.

So peaceful and serene. Beautiful surroundings. Will return again.

The manager was really nice and helpful. The sites were wooded more like you use to see when you went camping when you were young.

Woods-N-Waters was perfect for our overnight stay on our way back to Florida. The campground was quiet with very little vehicle activity during sleeping hours. It was easy in, and then easy out in the morning. The pool was in great shape and the bathroom and showers were very clean.

Basic facilities with bathhouse, laundry, playground & pool (didn’t use walking trails) and nice quiet campground. Owners were great!

We just needed a quick over night on our travels. Booked the site a couple hours before we arrived in the dark, found the site, plugged in walked the dogs quick and went to bed. Woke up and seen what tha campground looked like in the daylight. Nice simple and shaded campsites away from the busy town. Looked like a nice pool, peeked at the showers and the laundry and it looked nice and clean. To bad we couldn't have stayed to enjoy it. I would recommend it.

The campground was in a great location that was central to a lot of activities in Indiana. We hiked at Clifty, browsed so cute shops, and visited Madison and Uranus. The campground was quiet and laid back. It was very well maintained and the people were friendly. We loved our time at the pool and even played some basketball and walked by the pond. We will definitely return!

We stayed here for a quick overnight on our way home. Wish we could have stayed longer…we didn’t have a chance to check out the lake or the nature trail, but we had a nice, spacious site right next to the woods. Very quiet campground and friendly host who made sure we got our firewood…overall great stay!

It was the perfect getaway. We stayed in spot 4a and it was so spacious and close to everything. Although the campground was full, it was quiet and the evenings were so peaceful. The pool was perfect for the hot days and the kids enjoyed fishing in the pond and of course the playground. We didn't need anything from the host but they were around if we did. Campground was clean and we will definitely be back!

The campground was clean quiet and we'll taken care of. We would definitely return and plan on coming back in july.
