Wynyard Regional Park — Reviews

Women’s bathroom was “re-named” as another men’s bathroom, and it was very dark and rundown with an out-of-order shower. The campground as a whole, though in a lovely setting, is aged. The area is well-mowed, there’s a nice mowed trail around the campground. It’s a nice area for a walk and bird-watching. We didn’t have a fire pit and the nearest fire pit was filled with non-burnable garbage.

There was a local person removing a trailer beside us at 8:30 to 10:00 and he was trying to connect the truck to move or remove it. My wife felt unsafe for the entire evening and we will not return to this site on our travels across the country.

The washroom toilet was very dirty, I had to call the number provided but the employee was very helpful and had someone clean the washroom. The sites are not private at all. The site we were at had space for 3 campers and it looked like a parking lot.

Lots of shade. Generous pitches. Electricity was a bit weak. Clean and tidy. Occasional rode noise during day.

The site markings were not clear on arrival. The site map on the website should show numbers when people arrive and there’s nobody there to provide assistance.

Could not find the washrooms no signage, COYOTE!!

Sites were poorly marked. Sites were not level. Campground was occupied with a number of long term rentals that had long grass growing around the units. Garbage barrels had not recently been cleaned. Generally an unkempt look.

Grounds were mowed and tidy. Pretty setting. We arrived at dusk and had trouble finding our site since the site number signs weren't obvious and were in different spots in different sites. It would be helpful to have a site map posted somewhere. The one online didn't show the site numbers on my phone.

Beautiful quiet setting, with water you can fill up with and power. We did not use the bathrooms. Was good for a one night stop on a trip through Saskatchewan

Bathrooms were not cleaned daily, no paper towel or toilet paper.

I’m not sure if Campspot has any standards when allowing a campground to register on your site. Wynyard Regional campground is disgusting. There’s evidence there has been zero upkeep for many many years. We drove in and were unable to find our site as the numbers are barely visible where they exist at all. Given the state of the place we left immediately. My husband and I have camped in countless campgrounds over 25 years across North America. This is the first time we’ve refused to stay even though we had already paid. You may want to consider if you want to be affiliated!

Beautiful spot, very clean eco friendly bathrooms, showers and lights by solar.

Showers and washroom disgusting, Sani dump was not identified, and when we found it, no water available for rinse out. When booking on line said one site left. We were the only ones in the campground. If we had pulled in and seen this mess, we would have journied on to Foam Lake. We paid for showers there the next day. Foam Lake campground was excellent.
