Philmont Scout Ranch (Affiliation Required)

Cancellation & Refund Policy

I understand and agree that Philmont Scout Ranch does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature or inclement weather. In the case I need to cancel my reservation at Philmont, I understand that my payments are nonrefundable according to the following:

Refunds

Applicable to the total registration minus deposit.

60 Days Out from Reservation = Full Refund minus deposit.

45 Days Out from Reservation = Half Refund minus deposit

30 Days Out from Reservation = No Refund

Exceptions to this Rule: Military Service, family death, major medical (minus deposit), or other extenuating circumstances on a per case basis.

The refund will be applied to the credit card under the registration profile. Or, if payments were made in the form of a check, the refund will be mailed in the form of a check.

Cancellations and refund requests must be made through the Guest Service Office at Philmont.TrainingCenter@scouting.org.

Campspot Service Fee:

Reservations booked on Campspot’s marketplace may be charged a service fee (“Service Fee”) to help cover the cost of secure transactions on the platform. The Service Fee will be refunded in the event a guest (“Guest”) is entitled to a full refund pursuant to the terms of the cancellation policy presented in the listing.
