If applicable, a daily $15 USD resort fee is added to each reservation. The fee includes Wi-Fi, activities, access to on-site facilities, and more. Amenities may vary by location. We do not guarantee that amenities will always be available to guests. Certain amenities are subject to seasonal closures, closure for repair, maintenance, or other purposes, or may not have the capacity to accommodate all guests at the desired time of use.

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases, and discharges and covenants not to sue Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, and any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guest’s use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages from all losses, claims, expenses, and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages may incur arising out of or in connection with Guest’s use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Pet Policy: We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the owner's responsibility. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets.

Discounts: All applicable discounts must be applied at the time of booking. Rates and promotions are subject to change at any time without notice. All applicable discounts are only valid on new reservations and cannot be applied to existing reservations.

Payment in Full Due 7 Days in Advance:

Please note that the credit card used to secure your reservation at the time of booking will be charged for the remaining balance due no later than 7 days before your arrival. If you discontinue using the card used to secure your reservation, please be sure to notify us of the change and provide a new credit card. The inability to charge for the balance due a minimum of 7 days before your arrival MAY result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of your deposit.

Cancellation Policy:

For all stays shorter than 30 nights, no refunds are given on or after arrival. Cancellations made at least 14 days in advance will be refunded in the form used for the payment. Deposits for all reservations cancelled less than 14 days before your arrival date will be forfeited. Monthly Stays: For all stays of 30 nights or longer, no refunds will be given on or after arrival. Cancellations made at least 30 days in advance will be refunded in the form used for payment. Deposits for all reservations cancelled less than 30 days before your arrival date will be forfeited.

Resort and Water Feature Waiver and Release of Liability

I acknowledge that as a participant or guardian, in entering Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages, I may be exposed to the possible risk of injury and, in severe cases, death from the use of the resort and amenities contained within. All reasonable precautions have been taken to make Sugarloaf RV Resort & Cottages as safe as possible. I agree that this waiver and release of liabilities signed today is valid for the entire stay reserved here at Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages as guardian for any of the participants listed below, or for myself as a participant.

I hereby assume all risks and release. I will hold harmless Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Campground, their owners, management, employees, and agents and/or any other person from all liability, actions, caused of action, debts, claims, and demands of any kind and nature whatsoever which I now have, or which may arise out of or in connection with my use of the resort and/or its amenities.

I acknowledge that I am the parent, legal guardian, or participant listed below, and I have permission to execute this agreement for waiver and release of liability. I acknowledge that as a guardian or participant, I, my child/children, or ward named below, can physically participate in/on all amenities of the resort. I am legally competent to understand and complete this agreement, and I execute this agreement without coercion.

I understand that others also share the amenities at Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages over whom staff and management have no control. I agree to assume all liability for myself, my child/children, or the ward named below, even if arising from negligence of other participants, employees, or Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages management.

I agree to read all posted signs and understand that all grounds/amenities are “at your own risk” and that Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages does not have lifeguards on duty. I agree always to follow all staff instructions while at Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages.

For myself, participants named below, and next of kin, I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages, their owners, management, employees, and agents from all injuries, liabilities, or damages from participation. I additionally agree to indemnify Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages against any legal cost, medical cost, and any other expense arising from all injuries, liabilities, or damages from participation in the amenities here at Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages.

Image and Audio Release

By signing as a registered guest at this campground, you hereby give consent to Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages to take and use images (photographs or video) and/or audio recordings of me and to disclose these images or audio recordings in any public media, including radio, television, internet, or print, or in various publications of our choosing. I understand that such images and/or audio recordings are intended for advertising, marketing, fundraising, or promotional purposes. I waive any right to or interest in these images and/or audio recordings.

I acknowledge that this consent is being made solely for the benefit of Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages and its management, without any expectation of compensation or other benefit to me. If any benefit accrues or might accrue to BWD from using these images and/or audio recordings, I hereby and forever waive any interest in or claim to such benefits.  

I hereby release and forever discharge Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages and its franchised affiliates (including without limitation all corporate affiliates and officers, directors, employees, and agents) from all claims, liability, actions, suits, demands, costs, expenses, or indebtedness arising out of, related to, or in any way connected with the use of images and/or audio recordings as described herein.

Refunds are prohibited for weather conditions, voluntary departure, acts of nature, or evictions. All refunds processed via credit/debit card will be returned to the original credit/debit card used ONLY. We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel form of coronavirus (COVID-19) and following guidelines from these agencies and other local and state governmental agencies.

Health & Safety Protocols

We continue to follow several practices to support our commitment based upon guidance from health authorities and governmental agencies:

• For the safety of our guests and team members, please stay home if you are feeling ill or have an elevated temperature.
• Enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols have been established with defined cycles and procedures for common areas, high-touch surfaces, vacation rentals, cottages, and cabins.
• Individuals who are not fully vaccinated should wear face coverings in our facilities, and local mask mandates will be followed, where applicable.
• To increase awareness of simple prevention methods, information regarding recommended handwashing procedures will be posted in restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
• EPA-registered disinfectant products have been distributed to all locations.
• Facilities are being used with the risk that the user may contract COVID-19. Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages assumes no liability if the user contracts COVID-19 because of the use of said facilities.
