Whispering Winds Campground

Welcome to Whispering Winds Campground!
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all, we ask that each guest follows the rules and regulations outlined below. These policies are designed to protect our facilities and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Registration & Checkout

  • All guests and visitors must register at the office upon entering the campground.

  • Site changes require prior approval from management.

  • Checkout time is 12:00 PM. If you wish to extend your stay, payment must be made by 11:00 AM. Space is not guaranteed for extended stays.

  • A late checkout fee will apply.

Quiet Hours

  • Weekdays: 10:00 PM – 9:00 AM

  • Weekends: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM

  • Intoxication, drug use, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to end any disruptive gathering.

  • Any guest asked to leave due to rule violations will not receive a refund.

Children

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Golf Carts

  • Only seasonal campers may operate golf carts.

Pets

  • Pets Must be kept on a leash and may not be left unattended.

  • Pets are not permitted in common areas.

  • Proof of current vaccinations and license is required.

  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Vehicles & Speed Limit

  • Maximum speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground.

  • Speeding will result in a requirement to park in the designated lot and walk.

  • Pedestrians, bicycles, and golf carts have the right of way.

  • Only two vehicles per campsite (campers only).

  • Visitors must park in the lot at the entrance.

  • No unlicensed vehicles allowed.

  • No vehicle repairs or oil changes permitted.

Bicycles

  • Bicycles are allowed; safety is a priority.

  • Children under 16 must wear helmets.

  • Bikes must have safety lights if ridden after dark.

  • Pedestrians always have the right of way.

Pool Rules

  • No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

  • No children in diapers are allowed in the pool. Toddlers must wear approved swim diapers (e.g., Huggies Little Swimmers).

Campfires

  • Fires must be contained within the provided fire rings.

  • Bonfires are not permitted.

  • DO NOT move fire rings.

  • DO NOT burn garbage.

Firearms

  • Firearms must remain safely stored.

  • No hunting or shooting allowed on the property.

Laundry Facilities

  • Washers and dryers are available in the wash house.

  • Do not leave laundry unattended.

  • Clotheslines are not permitted.

Photography

  • The campground reserves the right to photograph events and individuals on the premises.

Alcohol

  • Do not drink and drive on the premises, this includes on golf carts.

Garbage & Sanitation

  • All trash must be bagged and placed in the dumpster located at the front of the property.

  • Do not leave garbage outside your campsite.

  • Sewer connections must be sealed to prevent odors.

  • No dumping of hazardous liquids on the grounds or in the sewer.

Site Maintenance

  • Keep your campsite neat and free of clutter.

  • No indoor furniture is allowed outside.

Landscaping

  • Do not dig or drive stakes in the ground. Guests are responsible for any damage to underground utilities.

Smoking

  • Smoking is prohibited in all common areas.

Water Usage

  • NO Washing vehicles or campers is permitted.

  • NO watering of grass or roads.

  • NO sprinklers or pools.

Pond Rules

  • Fishing is catch and release only.

  • Use barbless hooks and lures.

  • No swimming or adding fish to the ponds.

Visitors

  • All visitors must register at the office.

  • Overnight visitors: $10 per person/night.

  • Pool use is not included

  • Visitors may not bring pets.

Enforcement & Liability

Management strives to enforce these rules fairly and promptly. Campers are responsible for their visitors and agree that any enforcement is a matter solely between management and the parties involved. Lack of enforcement does not waive management's right to enforce rules at any time.
Whispering Winds Campground is not responsible for theft or loss of any kind.

Right to Modify

Management reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without prior notice.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 8 days or more prior to the reservation date will incur a $10 or 4% processing fee, whichever is greater.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the reservation date. Unless the site is rerented.

  • No refunds will be given for holiday reservations, regardless of notice given.

                                            

Refund Policy

  • Refunds are available with 8 days or more advance notice, minus a $10 or 4% administrative fee, whichever is greater.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the reservation date.

  • No refunds will be given if a guest is asked to leave for violating campground rules.

  • If you choose to leave before the end of your reservation, no refund will be issued. 

  • No refunds on holiday weekends, regardless of notice given.
