Friendly staff and a wooded site. Very dog friendly.

Quiet, safe, and an amazing place in nature in close proximity to DC. The staff were excellent with guidance and advice about getting out and about. As a solo traveler, this is a recommended place to stay.

The clay muddy site barely fit our RV. Good thing we had the heatwave as our steps dropped 1.5 feet from firepit and the picnic table crumblesld as we tried to move it! We had a W/E/S site and not able to dump our tanks as it was uphill and too far away to hook with our 25ft sewer hose.

Nice place, we had everything we needed. Not to far from Washington DC

We were packed in like Sardines had to pull halfway out disconnect and move our truck to reconnect to get out. This is a dirt pit run down campground. Will NEVER EVER BE BACK.

Poor Wifi accessibility and the camp is a little rundown after the winter and needs a spring cleanup

Easy check in. The site was just what we wanted.

The section of the RV park we were assigned appeared to be inhabited mainly by residents with old RV’s in poor condition surrounded by unsightly clutter, and very close together. We stepped in dog droppings while setting up. Sewer hookup was in an unusual position and almost too far to reach, even with 2 hoses. Exit route was very precarious, allowing only inches of clearance on both sides of our RV.

Park was quite bathroom were always clean. Enjoyed our stay

Sites were close together, barely could run out awning. But other than that the people were great and the park was well maintained . A lot of trees so starlink was spotty.

It was a great campground close to Washington DC. There are several permanent/semi-permanent residents. Most of the sites are occupied by these residents. Few were temporary guests from what I could tell. The bathrooms were nice, clean, and had hot water in the showers. Overall it was a great stay!

Was told sites were level and we had to park the other way, so had no sewage. The spots are way to close together.

Our recent stay at Adventure Bound Washington DC was unfortunately quite disappointing. We were looking forward to a relaxing camping experience, but what we found was a far cry from a typical campground. The most striking issue was the sheer amount of junk everywhere. It made the whole area feel unkempt and neglected, which isn't what you want when you're trying to enjoy nature. Furthermore, it seemed like the campground was overwhelmed with permanent residents. This wasn't just limited to RVs; even the cabins were rented by permanent residents. We observed numerous sites and cabins with what appeared to be long-term setups, including washers, dryers, and freezers outside their units. Some even had weightlifting equipment out in the open. This created an atmosphere more akin to a residential trailer park than a recreational campground, significantly detracting from the camping experience we were seeking. Overall, the prevalence of permanent residents and the cluttered environment made for a far less enjoyable stay than anticipated.

Site was small. Grounds were not kept well. Only plus was the site was the most level we had been to.

The place is gated and has full hook ups. Everyone is pretty friendly. There is a dog park which is pretty nice, we were there in the spring before the pool season so can’t say anything about that. There are a lot of “long timers” and there doesn’t seem to be any rules about what the yards are allowed to look like so it doesn’t really feel like a camp ground. Otherwise it was ok.

There were a lot of long-term residents in this location. Some did not pick=up after their pets and another used a blower several times a day for the leaves blowing dust and debris into our campsite. This location did not have the friendly atmosphere that most camp locations have. The staff were friendly just not the residents.
