Amarillo By Morning RV Park — Reviews

The campground was easy in and easy out. The young people in the office upon check in were just hanging out (and it smelled like they were smoking pot). Also: and this is one of my biggest pet peeves for an overnight stay. The sit was quite unlevel. When I'm coming in to rest and get going again in the morning, having to level up my rig (I don't have auto-level) is infuriating.

It was a nice cozy campground. It’s right off the highway, which worked for us since it was a quick overnight as we traveled along Route 40. The sites are big, it’s full hookup and it’s pretty quiet. It looks like they’re making improvements too. The only negative is that it’s in the airport flight path. Evening was a lot of air traffic but it quieted down by midnight.

Nice little park, no frills, but clean & convenient!

To close to the Hugh truck stop next door. Diesel truck engines running all night. It should state on the website that this is one noisy place. Also WiFi was not working and I couldn’t get cell service,

Smooth check in. No issues Very convenient location

The park was replacing a fence that backed up to a gas station with semi truck overnight parking, our area wasn’t completely done, so we got some noice and I worried about things being stolen out of the truck bed since we were only staying 1 night. Everyone we talked with was very nice, even our neighbors. We stayed once before and since it’s a mile from Buc-ees, we’ll probably stay again.

Great location. Sites are in good condition. (Would be nice to see permanent residents clean up their sites.)

Loved the restroom updates. Easy to make a reservation. Easy in, easy out. Reasonable price.

Nice place to stop

Nice long pull through lot with its own fenced in area for pets. We only stayed overnight so we didn’t use any amenities.

Campground was alright. Jets coming in for landing at the airport were loud, luckily the came during the day and we were not there that often, except early morning. The biggest problem was WiFi… we had three different router id’s and passwords because the original one assigned didn’t work. One of the other two worked occasionally, but had weak strength. Don’t plan on having WiFi at this campground.

Absolutely no cell service. Wi-Fi could not be found. Only 1 washer available and working. Sorry. We were disappointed.

It was a place to plug in for the night but that is about it. I got absolutely no response by texting and calling the number provided and there was no welcome packet left for us so we had no access to the shower house or anything else. Again it was a place to stay for the night and we felt safe so that’s why it’s getting 3 stars.

Needs some upkeep.

We originally booked a shady spot for our pop up camper in May but rescheduled to June. They moved us to a less shady spot but at least there was some shade. Upon arrival we were moved to a spot with no shade at all, meanwhile the shady spot we agreed to remained vacant for the entire weekend. Our pop up has ac but no match for the afternoon sun and heat. Also we never were able connect to their Wi-Fi.

Great except for the freeway noise.
