No internet bad electrical hookups over crowded

love this park! spacious, quiet, clean, dog friendly, super nice staff! close to sights, the beaches and food! we will be back!

We have stayed in Westport before at another camp ground. This is by far the best one we have stayed at. Very nice facility! We will definitely be back to stay!

Family friendly environment. Front office was friendly and helpful.

People living in the campground doesn't make it feel like camping.

American Sunset RV Resort was well-managed and well-maintained, very clean and tidy. The ocean can be heard ftom the resort, though there is no direct access from the resort. We loved being visited by a large deer groupl. We will come back again.

Nice camp ground with a lot of space for tents plus RVs, portapotties and full bathrooms with showers available. No outlets on campground, be sure to bring a power bank or charge your phones by the full bathrooms. As of 9/1/24 currently on a burn ban so not fire pits in use.

First time staying, and I have to say we have already agreed that we will be coming back next year to camp! We stayed in the tent area, it was clean and the rules in place are probably what made our stay so nice. There was a burn ban in effect at the time and we weren't prepared, but luckily the marina store around the corner had a propane fire pit with lava rocks we were able to use. Had a few jealous neighbors though ;) but it worked out for our one night stay. Heard the seals all night, thats how close we were to the ocean. Bathrooms were always clean and didn't ever seem packed.

Showers and WiFi could have been better. Staff less than personable. Just wanted to discuss rules and financial cost of violations. Site was fine.

Porta potties, no running water or garbage disposal by sites. No lake, forest or anything there to enjoy.

Not bad. Some of the other guests were a bit annoying (loud outside of daylight hours) and there was a broken light at my site that cycled on/off every 2 minutes when it was dark outside. The prices in the office store were fair and the pool was nice.
