American Sunset RV & Tent Resort — Reviews

This is one of our normal Westport RV camping spots. Typically clean. Close to town. Deer wander in. Yes the spots are close to one another, but that hasn’t been an issue for us.

Nice little park. Heated pool. Large play area. WIFI worked.

Very friendly and a beautiful place to stay…

Restroom next to the fish cleaning house needs to be remodeled . All else was good.

Bathrooms were really clean and even the honey buckets regularly serviced. Everyone was really nice and helpful. An older gentleman was working after hours yesterday and was so nice and helpful when it came to my questions they keep up with the ground and keep it so clean.

Nice people that run the park. Everything was clean and picked up.

Campsites we’re good. A little jammed together. Bathrooms were clean and showers were free! Plenty of wild life just roaming the campsite, including a bald eagle just chilling nearby in the trees. Overall a good place to set up camp, especially if camping with groups of people. If you are trying to be off on your own a bit, this might not be for you.

Great place for fishing and clamming. There are full timers, but everyone is nice and friendly. They have a great fish and clam cleaning area. Spaces are gravel and are on the right side. We will come and stay again.

Nice place clean facilities

Hubby, myself and 2 dogs just left here after a week stay. This is by far one of the most relaxing places we have stayed at. Clean free showers & Laundry. $2 to wash & $1 to dry. Playground for kiddos and an abundance of deer throughout. All the permanent residents were off to the side. Lots of parking for toads or addtl trailers. If we are ever back in Westport. We would absolutely stay here again. 10/10. Also note - after driving through Westport and grayland all week. This is by far the cleanest park around. There may be cheaper in the area. But they are nasty, dirty and run down sites. Come to American Sunset Rv - you will NOT be disappointed.

The staff are friendly and kind. The bathrooms near the RV section and the portable bathrooms by the tent section were clean. Camp sites are huge, over all this place is very family oriented and we loved it!

Campsites are spacious, park overall is very well maintained. Staff so very nice and helpful. Bathrooms are kept nice and clean. Definitely will recommend! Special thanks to Jeremy, who was so helpful.. high five!

The staff were so nice!

Nice clean place, the restrooms and are kept clean. The rv sites are soooo close to one another... you basically have a 30x50 for your trailer, putting your slides right into your neighbors awning or makeshift fire ring. Friendly staff, clean place, but not for us, too packed together.

Easy location for a base camp for exploring with pets in tow
