Too cold windy, tent shelter on stone, no trash cans, dogs not on leashes. Water is nice and not crowded.

I didn't stay. The insects were unbearable. Millions of Callibaetis covered the shelter, picnic table and would emerge from the grass with every step.

Campsite was beautiful with the views. Not to crowded. The wind was absolutely horrible. If you get a campsite here you NEED a shelter if you tent camp. No inflatables in the lake would’ve been cool to know before hand, that also could’ve been my poor planning and not reading thoroughly enough. The reason for missing 1 star was there is no potable water on site. Was expecting at least a well with a spigot lol. But overall enjoyed our time there!

The camp host was friendly and helpful. We were there during the week, so it was nice and quiet. The campground was clean in spite of the City of Denver not providing convenient dumpsters.

The site itself was fine, the view is beautiful, but I would only stay here again on a weekday. Way too many RVs with screaming and crying children. Also, someone pulled in in the middle of the night and just set up on my site right by me. Its not like there is anyone around where I could tell them to buzz off so they refused to leave. This was what I was worried about making a "reservation" Definitely a waste of money.
