Apple Creek Campground — Reviews

Sites were small and close together. One of the ladies behind the counter was very rude. For me, I’ll never be back.

As others stated- and we read beforehand, the sites are so small. So close to neighbors. The firepits were in weird placements that didn’t really align with the site which was annoying. The pool was very nice and my kids enjoyed the playground. But the pool closes at 7:30 which feels really early (as does the store with the arcade) there was no tetherball or basketball which was on the map but we never found that. You also can hear the highway while sleeping. It was a good price though.

The campground was really nice, the sites are on the smaller side and the fire pits are on the shallow side and at the front of the campsite making it very hard to park.

Sites are very small. Women’s bathroom only had 2 working stalls. Dump station was located in a very inconvenient location.

It was a good place that was close to Lambeau Field.

Great place to camp. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Restrooms / showers extremely clean. Would definately recommend to anyone looking for a place to camp.

There was confusion about the campground entrance. But the site was really nice. No problems. Our one night stay was uneventful and peaceful.

Ease of booking. Clean facility. Close to home.

The sign to the entrance was to small and I missed it. Drove passed it and had to drive a mile down the road to find a place to turn my 40 foot RV. Once I got into the campground and checked in, I was told my site is in a different location. I had to exit the campground and drive to an additional campground location up a long hill away from all the campground amenities. To get to the camp store/office, pool, bath house, you had to hike down the hill, cross a stream over a bridge. Once I got to my site I realized I only had water and electric hookups, no full hookup in the entire campground. I order to empty my tanks I would have to disconnect and drive back down the hill into the main campground to the dump station. Once I plugged into the shore power supply my surge protector detected an open ground and couldn’t get power to my RV. I had to hike down the hill over the bridge back to the office to report the problem because when I called the office all I could get was voicemail. I got another site that wasn’t level but had power. We only stayed 1 night and left in the morning. Couldn’t wait to get out of this campground.

Camp management was great. Unfortunately, the campsites are quite close together and the campers next to us were loud until 1am around the campfire. Although we appreciate sitting with friends and family around the fire until late, the closeness of campers always has to be taken into consideration.

The bathroom toilets were pretty nasty with feces on the toilet seats in all three stalls. Not sure who was responsible for keeping the restrooms sanitary. These were pretty bad. The camp sites are pretty close together.

Clean park and friendly staff. Tight lots to back into. Too many permanent sites for our liken.
