Armstrong Creek RV Park is the perfect, peaceful getaway. The campsites sit right along the beautiful, rushing Armstrong Creek with great fishing. It has a quiet atmosphere which is deeply relaxing. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They are actively rebuilding after Hurricane Helene and making fantastic progress. Their hard work shows in the clean, recovering grounds. The campground is centrally located to visit quaint towns like Little Switzerland and Spruce Pine. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Not a place for short term family camping. Bad WiFi/ no cell signal/no dumpster/ under construction to the point where it would have been better to just keep resort closed until it is finished. Pretty sure there are many people who live there year round. Bad experience and very overpriced. Should not have opened till all construction was complete!!!!

We are sorry that you had a bad experience, J.M. We apologize for the bad wifi and we have taken down a few trees to help with that problem. We do have a few people living in the campground that are working to rebuild what Helene destroyed. Rebuilding what was destroyed is expensive so we had to open as much as we could but I know not everyone wants to see a work in progress. We would be happy to refund your money if you will reach out to 828-442-6347.

The site was double width and level. Tidy hookups and firepit. A nice place to Basecamp and see the area!
