Askew’s Landing RV Campground — Reviews

This was our second time staying in the glamping cabin w/two 14 yr old boys! There were so many fun. activities and events planned that they didn't even complain about not having electronics (1 of them kept a phone on them to make their TikToc videos, but they weren't glued to them). The fished, did paddle boats. played bingo, and cooked s'more! The staff and volunteers were the absolute nicest people that I've met in a long time. Our every need was met. They truly went above and beyond in every aspect of making sure guests were taken care of and that the property was clean and inviting, and supplies were stock if we had forgotten something!! We will be going back, A LOT!! THANK YOU GUYS!!!

What an awesome out of the way , close to so much place! We got here and our coach broke down. The staff was incredible! Not only they tow us in, they gave us the name of a great mechanic! Unfortunately, we had to return to Michigan. But we will definitely come back here in the fall!

Beautiful setting. Quiet, but easy access to paved road. Very welcoming. It is a little more than we usually pay to stay, but very secure - worth it to us.

We loved this rv park! It was beautiful and serene and had something for everyone! We wish we could have stayed longer but if we are ever back this way we will definitely come back! Such friendly staff as well!

There is a dirt road to get to the campground, but don’t let that deter you. Quiet, clean, trees, ponds. The people are so very nice! Worth checking out for sure!

We needed a quiet overnight stop with clean restrooms/showers. We found it here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The overnight locations were right next to the restroom/showers and had a great pond view. May 21, 2024

Off the beaten path! Driving back to the office and campsite is a one-lane road. Incoming traffic has the right-of-way, as those exiting have a few pull-off spots (there are about 3), so be very slow and patient. Lovely and extremely friendly staff, very helpful! The ambiance is also interesting with the water and fishing! This is a grassy campground parking. So in very wet periods (recent rain), if you have a heavy rig, it could be a bit challenging. Also, there are some tight turns on the roads, so again, larger rigs will be challenged, but it is doable. In muggy times, be sure to bring some bug spray! You will be near a lake, so that should be expected. They are doing work in the park, making improvements. There is no wifi at the spots at this time, so bring a hotspot. My phone (AT&T) worked just fine. I would come back and stay longer. :)

Easy off and on the freeway. Far enough that there was no hiway noise. Spots were spacious. Back in spots had plenty of room to get into. Absolutely lovely lake, pond and grounds in general.

This is an amazing campground!!! We will definitely be back. We love it here.
