Cancellation Policy
Please call Barnes Park for all cancellations at 231.599.2712.
Campground must be notified no less than 14-days before the start date of the reservation to receive a full refund less the $30 cancellation fee. If less than a 14-day notice, no refund will be issued. This includes desired date changes. Changes made outside of the 14-day window will be charged a $4 change of reservation fee to cover the cost of adjusting the dates of your stay.
*Please note we do not offer wifi and lack of cell or internet service is not cause for cancellation fee waivers. Weather conditions don't qualify for cancellation fee waivers.
The following applies to reservations created on April 12 and 13 ONLY:
During certain reservation dates (April 12–13), we require all reservations made to meet a minimum stay of 5 nights or more.
If you book a stay that meets that requirement (e.g., 5+ nights), your reservation is valid.
But if you later try to shorten your stay (for example, change it to 3 or 4 nights), you would no longer meet the minimum stay rule.
Because of that, the system won’t allow a simple modification—you’d have to:
Cancel the original reservation, and
Rebook a new one with the shorter dates (if available and allowed).
Please note this may result in cancellation fee(s) and/or re-booking fees.
All reservations and any reservation alterations in dates, are subject to a $4 booking fee.
