This is an older campground which was recently purchased by a super nice young couple, living their dream. My wife and I had the honor of chatting with them and hearing their dreams for the park. The location is next to Rt 87, but because the campground sets down below the level of the road, car noise seems to travel over the campers. We never felt we were next to a road. We've all seen what some older bathroom facilities can look like, but they obviousely invested a lot of money and hard work into the bathrooms and showers. We are talking a complete overhaul; brand new, modern and very cozy. The sites have some visible upgrades to power, sewer, water, and a brand new wifi system. There is no cell service in this area, so it was nice to be able to get a texts out to family. Its also evident that multiple tri-axels of stone were brought in to level up camp sites. We stayed at site 7 which required no leveling at all. My wife and I are looking foward to seeing this campground evolve in the years to come, but will definitely be back there before this camping season ends. Its basically 5 miles from the entrance to Worlds End State Park, so you cant go wrong location-wise. We'd never been to Worlds End, and a day wasn't enough to take it all in. We gotta get back there! Happy Camping everyone!
