Really disappointed with the lack of amenities and false advertising. Where do I even start. First off. The map that shows 2 playgrounds is completely false. One of the “playgrounds” is actually a private residence that is completely gated off and not for “resort” use. I use the term “resort” very loosely as this place should not call themselves that. The other playground on the map is literally a wooden platform. With a side beam. It’s the shell of what should have been a play structure? But had no swings, no slide, not even a ladder to get onto the wooden platform. Completely unusable for children. So they in fact do not have any play structures for children. But that is not the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. We arrived on a Thursday, at approx 4pm and decided to go to the restaurant on sight. First off, no dogs allowed at the outdoor seating of the restaurant. So even though they claim to be pet friendly they are not. Anyways, we sat down at the outdoor patio, there was one other couple seated. We have two small children with us so we sat down and I had my husband go in to check in with the staff to make sure it was ok. Before my husband even got in the door a lady came barging out and snapping at us for “seating ourselves”. When I explained to her my husband was coming to check in her response was “ your lucky we’re slow right now”. Incredibly rude and just overall extremely unfriendly before we even had a chance. I will say the food and drinks were good which is the only reason this place is getting 2 stars. The photos are not at all what it looks like now. There is an extremely busy road that goes right through the middle of the “resort” with no crosswalks, no slow signs, nothing. With two children this was also very stressful. Their beach is just giant rocks, their “amenities” are zero other than water and electricity so don’t expect anything above the basics. Their “pet friendly” is a joke. No dogs allowed on the beach or basically anywhere other than your campsite. Nothing for kids. They way over charged for a small grass spot. We ended up leaving almost 2 full days early and will never be back. 0/10 recc.

We specifically chose a spot by the bathrooms, based on the map. There were no bathrooms where the map showed. The bathrooms were very far away. When you have seniors staying, these things matter.

The disapointing issues were the restrsunt on site prices and food. We drove 5 minutes down the road to the floating house restraunt for better food for a lot less. Also we have never been charged to dump our waste tanks $30 very disappointing.
