The site was spacious. Grounds were well maintained. The restaurant was a real plus. There wa music. A wonderful relaxing evening.

Camping area is all dead grass with no sewer hookups and the garbage bins are not conveniently located. The bar and restaurant are very good with a great staff. The boat slips and launch are top notch and the swimming area is great.A lot of kids lacked supervision and I didn’t see any staff patrolling the area. The folks next to us were slobs and their kids were up and loud until 2am. We won’t be planning a return

Really disappointed with the lack of amenities and false advertising. Where do I even start. First off. The map that shows 2 playgrounds is completely false. One of the “playgrounds” is actually a private residence that is completely gated off and not for “resort” use. I use the term “resort” very loosely as this place should not call themselves that. The other playground on the map is literally a wooden platform. With a side beam. It’s the shell of what should have been a play structure? But had no swings, no slide, not even a ladder to get onto the wooden platform. Completely unusable for children. So they in fact do not have any play structures for children. But that is not the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. We arrived on a Thursday, at approx 4pm and decided to go to the restaurant on sight. First off, no dogs allowed at the outdoor seating of the restaurant. So even though they claim to be pet friendly they are not. Anyways, we sat down at the outdoor patio, there was one other couple seated. We have two small children with us so we sat down and I had my husband go in to check in with the staff to make sure it was ok. Before my husband even got in the door a lady came barging out and snapping at us for “seating ourselves”. When I explained to her my husband was coming to check in her response was “ your lucky we’re slow right now”. Incredibly rude and just overall extremely unfriendly before we even had a chance. I will say the food and drinks were good which is the only reason this place is getting 2 stars. The photos are not at all what it looks like now. There is an extremely busy road that goes right through the middle of the “resort” with no crosswalks, no slow signs, nothing. With two children this was also very stressful. Their beach is just giant rocks, their “amenities” are zero other than water and electricity so don’t expect anything above the basics. Their “pet friendly” is a joke. No dogs allowed on the beach or basically anywhere other than your campsite. Nothing for kids. They way over charged for a small grass spot. We ended up leaving almost 2 full days early and will never be back. 0/10 recc.

We specifically chose a spot by the bathrooms, based on the map. There were no bathrooms where the map showed. The bathrooms were very far away. When you have seniors staying, these things matter.

The disapointing issues were the restrsunt on site prices and food. We drove 5 minutes down the road to the floating house restraunt for better food for a lot less. Also we have never been charged to dump our waste tanks $30 very disappointing.

Everything and everyone was amazing the marina is first class we are definitely returning next year. Weaver family

Great staff and great service and wonderful facilities

This has to be the worst campground we have ever stayed at. We decided to pack up and didn’t even stay the second night because it was so bad. Where to start? The site itself was horrible. Stumps of various heights all over the place just high enough to trip over or back into. And the tent site itself was on the side of a hill. Not a level piece of ground anywhere. Next, the toilets and showers. The toilets next to the tent area are porta potties, and no running water and soap to wash your hands after. The showers across the road have a continual line, so if you want to wait all day in line, fine, but that isn’t my idea of a fun day. Finally, the noise. People loudly partying until 2am, with nothing being said to them. We got no sleep and we were there as part of a jeep trail riding group who were driving in the mountains the next day. And the trailers are squished in the sites like sardines. It looks like someone is trying to get as much money as possible out of this place before running it into the ground. It definitely wasn’t worth the $120+ dollars for 2 nights of a tent site on the side of a hill with dead weeds, stumps, porta-potties, and drunkards. If you have other choices, stay somewhere else, this place is Beyond Hope.

Poor customer service. Nothing but a big open lot. Lots of noise
