Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

Big Fish Bay requires a 14-day notice for campsite cancellation and a 30-day notice for cabin/bungalow cancellation.

No refund will be issued for cancellations made after the cancellation cut-off.

Cancellation notice must be received by 12:00 PM (local time) at least 14 days prior to the check-in date for campsites and 30 days prior for cabins/bungalows.

Long weekend and specific site reservations cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable. For cancellations with less than the above-stated notice, we charge full rate + GST.

A $31.50 fee (including 5% GST) will apply to all reservations (RV sites and cabins/bungalows) cancelled with enough notice given, and the $10 reservation fee is non-refundable. A request for refund will only be granted if the request is made within the timelines noted above.

No-shows and early departures are non-refundable and will be charged the full reservation amount.

Reservation Changes

Reservation changes are considered cancellations and rebooking and are subject to this cancellation policy.

Changes within the cancellation period cannot be used to reduce the total cost of a reservation. No refunds or credits will be issued for downgrades or shortened stays within 14 days (campsites) or 30 days (cabins/bungalows) of check-in.

Refund Conditions

Refunds will not be issued for weather conditions, air quality, fire restrictions, or other events beyond our control.

Approved refunds (including GST) will be processed back to the original method of payment within 5 business days.

How to Cancel

All cancellations must be made by phone, or through the online booking system if completed by the guest. Group bookings must be cancelled by phone through the office. Cancellations are not considered valid until confirmed.
