Guidelines for a perfect stay at CAMP ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE, AB

  1. Check- in is any time after 2 p.m. and before 8 p.m.  Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
    Please notify our office staff prior to 10 a.m. if you plan to stay longer than initially planned.
    This will help us accommodate other campers who may need your site.
  2. Only one vehicle per site, parked in front of the unit on the gravel – extra vehicles or visitors to be parked in the overflow parking.
  3. The speed limit within the campground is 10 km/h.
  4. Large area outdoor rugs are prohibited on campsites with grass. A small mat (24″ x 24″ maximum) is allowed at the base of your stairs.
  5. Please do not move the fire pits, and never leave your fire unattended while burning.
  6. Both grey and black water tanks must be full before dumping. This will save your tanks and our sewer lines from plugging.
  7. A pump out service can be arranged the day prior to needing the pump out for a fee.
  8. We charge per sleeping unit – not per site! No more than 2 tents per site.
  9. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. – 7 a.m. No unreasonable noise is permitted at any time.
  10. The laundry room is open 24/7. Please do not hang clothes on lines or on trees at the campsite.
  11. No liquor is allowed in public areas, other than your own site.
  12. Smoking of any substance is not permitted in public areas.  Please be considerate to your neighbours.
  13. Please keep your campsite free of clutter for the enjoyment of all our guests.
  14. Please separate refundable bottles from garbage and place them in proper receptacles.
  15. Offenders of vandalism, including abuse of vegetation life and/or theft will be evicted and prosecuted.
  16. The Operation of ATVs within the Campground is prohibited with the exception of from your site to the nearest exit and the entrance to your site, between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm.
  17. Visitors must park in designated parking areas and walk in; we ask all visitors to leave by 10 p.m.
  18. Pets are welcome (All pets must be registered with the Campground Office).
    We do insist that they are kept quiet and, on a leash, while here.
    Please always clean up after your pet and stay away from the playgrounds. An off-leash area is available for you to play together.
  19. We reserve the right to absolve responsibility from natural or unnatural events or acts of nature.
  20. Any activity close/near or into the river is at your own risk.
  21. Please notify the management of any concerns or ideas.

    The maximum stay length is 10 consecutive nights. If you are wanting to stay longer, please contact us before booking.

    Cancelling your reservation on the day of or 7 days prior to arrival will result in no refund. Cancelling your reservation 8 to 14 days prior to arrival, you will be refunded half of your total stay. Cancellations 15 or more days will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee.  

    There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations, or disorderly conduct.  Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds. 

    Covid-19 Policy: Please follow all federal, province, and local health guidelines.

    Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

    Camp Rocky Mountain House or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

    The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
