Black River Hideaway Campground Rules & Policies

We work hard to provide a clean, safe, and fun campground for our guests. Please follow these basic rules to help us ensure that all our visitors have a pleasant stay.

  1. CHECK-IN TIME.  RVs/Campers & Primitive Sites Check-in time is at 1 PM or after. Lodging Check-in time is at 3 PM or after.
  2. CHECK-OUT TIME. For Lodging, Camper Rentals, RV/Camper and Primitive sites is by 11 AM.
  3. QUIET TIME. Sunday – Thursday: Camp-wide quiet time is at 11PM, after 10PM all noise/music must be confined to your campsite. Friday & Saturday: Quiet time is 12 AM, 11 PM all noise/music must be confined to your campsite.
  4. KEEP IT CLEAN. Keep your campsite in clean order. No trash on the ground and keep your “front yard” looking nice. The campground host is happy to take your trash from the end of your site to the dumpster for you, if it is sitting there.
  5. PETS. We allow a maximum of 2 pets per campsite. You must clean up after your pets. Pets must be kept on a leash or lead. All pets must be kept inside, if campers are not present at the campsite. 
  6. ILLEGAL DRUGS. There are ABSOLUTELY NO illegal drugs allowed on Black River Hideaway property.
  7. ATVS/UTVS. ATVs and UTVs are welcome on the property but they must always stay on the gravel. Hiking trails are completely prohibited for any type of ATVs and/or UTVs. All drivers of ATVs and UTVs must be at least 18 years of age.
  8. SEWER HOOKUPS. All campers/RVs must have their sewer hooked-up with a screwed-in sewer adapter, or similar.
  9. ONE-WAY ROAD. All motor vehicles, ATVs, and golf carts must follow the one-way gravel road. This ensures safety for all guests staying and/or visiting the campground.
  10. PARKING. Please park all vehicles on the gravel, we try to keep our grass green and looking nice for everyone so please help by keeping all vehicles including side by sides' off the grass.
  11. DO NOT MOVE FIREPITS.  There will be a $50.00 fee charged to the credit card on file.
  12. ONLY ONE VEHICLE PER SITE.  Any additional vehicles must park in the pool parking lot or storage lot free of charge. 
  13. NO TRAILERS ALLOWED UP THE HILL TO THE CABINS.  Trailers can be unloaded and parked in the storage lot at no cost.

Reminder: If you are needing the shuttle service to Jeff's Canoe Rental, let your staff now upon checking-in.

Booking Policy:

A prepayment of the full reservation total is required at the time of booking for all stays, regardless of length.

Cancellation and Refund Policies:

  • Reservations cancelled at least 15 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.
  • Reservations cancelled 7 to 14 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Reservations cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival receive no refund.
  • No shows and early departures receive no refund.
