Boots Campground — Reviews

Same day reservations are a big deal to those of us travelers who shoot from the hip, those that need maximum flexibility. Boots got us a spot for 2 nights at a very popular location with minimal hassle. Great job guys!

Overall this was a great place to camp when you want to explore Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Close to Medora & just minutes from the South unit entrance. This place has no fancy amenities, but you get full hookups for a good price. The only down side was that the first night I was there, a group of people were up partying with loud music til 3am. (I don't believe they were fellow campers but locals) I got no response from the company when I emailed at 1:30am about the noise. The down side of a self-service type park. Otherwise, I had a good experience.

This campground spaces are tight. It was not easy getting a 41' motorhome into the assigned space. There was a large dip we had to maneuver the motorhome around to get it into the assigned spot and then I had to back the car out and maneuver around the same obstacle. With everyone's slide outs out, you had to pick your way around those, plus the water, elec and sewer on the ground. It was a challenge. Other than that, the ground was level, it was quiet, and the grounds were kept up.

The campground was small but decent. The view is spectacular! They give a phone number to call if needed - I texted (not called) about wifi but they either don’t text or don’t care but they never responded. Our first night there while trying to enjoy our dinner and some quiet, a man started mowing. He got closer and closer to our site. Finally when he got within about a foot of us we just decided to drive into town to get away from the noise. Not only was it annoying but also very rude! Other than that though we enjoyed our stay!

This campground has all hookups and beautiful views. It is a small property but quiet. There were also cabins to rent. And just down the hill was the main town and entrance to Roosevelt national park. Would definitely return.

Views were great Campground was quiet Septic was built so it ran uphill from camper One site actually had toilet paper around septic which was never cleaned up Sites were advertised as 65ft sites however we had 26 ft camper and we could not even park out pickup on the site. We called to inquire we could park truck 2nd day but never heard back. Sites were also extremely narrow we could not put out both our slide and awning because we would be wider than our site

Level site, water, sewer, and electrical worked well. Great WiFi. Great location. Will stay again

I think we were supposed to be on site number one and two great big trailers were in. It came in after dark and had no idea where to go or what and when I called nobody ever did return my call even in the morning. We also didn’t know there was no restroom or shower, but that was OK All all though very nice and private. That was what made it great as far as the rest of it and location thanks to all.

Quiet Easy to find

We did not realize our pull-through camp spot would be right next to a cabin. Evidently it shows that on the website, but not on the Camp Spot site. Fortunately, no one was renting the cabin at the time. However, the site was on the side of a hill and did not have any outdoor area to picnic, cook out, or have a camp fire. The location was good. It was out of town and quiet at night.

Very quite and close to park

Great facility, close to where we were working in Medora. Would love to bring the family back here to stay during the summer.
