Clean water, great location!

We enjoyed the easy access to the site and the beautiful views. The Boots Bar and Grill was great too.

All was good. Nice place.

The sites are too close for you to enjoy putting out your awning to sit under to enjoy an afternoon or grill a steak outside. Otherwise, the heated water pipes are a smart addition.

Small campground with great views

Close to Medora, Beautiful scenery, No other campgrounds open this late in the season. We saw the Aurora Borealis in the northern sky. A bare-bones campground. No management on site. No phone number or email address posted. When I plugged into 50 amp service, I received an outlet error code and ended up using my 30 amp adapter. Not ideal. My site was not level. Even with jacks it was a challenge to level the motorhome.

Great views! Quick and easy access.

It was good, the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is because we were right next to a cabin and instead of waiting until we were gone, the very next day- they were putting up new gutters right next to us. Not that it was noisy, that I don’t care about, it’s the fact that this site was so close to the cabin that if they would have dropped one, it could have fallen on our camper or truck. We are in the industry so I understand needing to get things done, but at the same time, we always work around when we didn’t have people at the sites right next to where they were working.

Great campground with full hookups. Convenient to Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. View of the badlands is beautiful.

It was easy to book, easy to find, and quiet and the hookups were easy to access. The views were beautiful. We would stay longer next time.

This campground was very quiet and close to Medora. The only downfall was our site (#10) was very close to the cabin. Stayed at Medora Campground the next day where the sites were ridiculously close. Our slide out was feet away from the next site. Overall Boots Campground was more favourable than Medora or Red Trail Campground.

We were parked on a gravel road, 3 feet from a cabin. There is no place to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views unless it's on the road. Our "campsite" was next to a highway and a cattle guard was right there, so every time a car went over it , it rattled noisily!

The reservation process is terrible. Lots of co fusion. Ho hum.
