It was quiet, peaceful, and not a lot of traffic around the campsite which was greatly appreciated. The only thing I was upset about was the dog presents all over our campsite which we kept stepping in. Other than that, it was full service hookup, and perfect! #27

Thank you for camping with us. We struggle with customers that do not pick up after their pets but continue to try to stay ahead of this problem. We hope you will give us a chance to do better in the 2026 camping season.

This was chosen to be a pet friendly campsite, and all the amenities we desired, But upon checkin the owner stated I needed to keep my dog inside. When I asked to clarify I needed to keep my dog in the camper as much as possible because the owner has been bit and there are kids around otherwise a short leash. So that rubbed me the r wrong way. Our site #1 was tiny and very uneven, there is no place I could actually take my dog to play except the little hill between the camper and road. Other sites have way more room though. There is also No dumpsters so you must pack out your garbage (it does state this in terms and conditions) It also stated there was a beach and WiFi access, but we never found more than the boat ramp and a couple docks. It was peaceful all the time and with the hours of 10pm-9am for quiet time,( and owners go through the grounds all day and night) so I’m sure it’s always like that. If you want a quiet place with little to no service or privacy then here’s the place to go.

We are sorry for the mixed signals you feel you received. We are pet friendly but pets must be kept in the camper when the owner is not at the camp site. Boulder Lake Lodge Resort is 80 acres in size with easy access to our 1/3 of a mile boarder on the Nicolet National Forest. The next time you camp with us, please ask where you can let your dog run off resort property. We do ask pet owners to clean up after their pets but sometimes pet owners miss some.
