Bowman Parks and Recreation Butte View Campground — Reviews

Rated4.0out of 5Great!
This is a state park. But very long term staying there. Not a problem, but the grass was over 3 ft tall around trucks and trailers. Just needs a better maintenance on the grass cutting.

Decent bathroom and shower. I was expected to sign up online when I didn’t have reception. Tons of mosquitoes. And one of the worst storms I’ve ever been in from midnight till 2 AM. Obviously some of that is not the campgrounds fault. Overall, it was decent especially for the price.

We love Butte View Park. We have stayed there before, and will stay again. A few comments. 1) The map on the online registration did not identify the spot numbers, so when registering, I had no idea which spot we was signing up for... 2) The flush hose at the dump site was not on I realize it's early in the season so perhaps that was the reason.... 3) That having been said, we enjoyed our stay. There were a lotbof othercampers there, yet it was quiet. 4) The bathrooms/showers were clean and accessible despite the ongoing remodeling project. 5) The grounds were nicely mowed and trash free, again inpite of the upgrades and ongoing construction. Again, Butte View Park is on our list as a positi e place to stop when we travel to ND!! See Ya next time!!

Great campsite, price, and restrooms. Campground host was very friendly and helpful. Train horns were a bit loud but they are at 70% of campgrounds.

So convenient, right off Hgwy 12. Great play area (sadly no kiddos with us) Nice campground to walk around. Bathrooms/showers very well kept. Very reasonable prices. The grounds were neat and tidy. The only drawback was that the grass was not watered. Overall a great stop.

Amenities were great. Cleanest showers I’ve ever been in in a campground. Laundry room was the best maintained laundry room I’ve ever seen in a campground. And the people were very nice.
