stayed at Brookwood in a 40 ft class A towing. Site was 50 amps, FHU, level gravel, with room to park the tow vehicle. The campground is well maintained with a mix of seasonal and transient campers. The campground is larger than it looks and meanders around the ridge. For those that use them, the bathrooms, showers, and laundry are all in excellent condition. There is excellent WI-FI available and it’s needed as there is next to no phone service for AT&T or TMobile. Forget satellite service as it is heavily wooded, but that’s a plus really. For those that use them, the bathrooms, showers, and laundry are all clean and in excellent condition. The WiFi has a strong signal and superior band width. However it is needed as there is next to no phone service for AT&T or T mobile. And you can forget satellite service as it is heavily wooded, but that’s a plus really. Be sure to follow the directions sent by owner about check in as the turns are tight, but Mark will assist with where to unhook tow and help with the back in. Mark(owner) is a hoot and an encyclopedia of info on upper NY and Ticonderoga area…use him as a guide as the restaurant options are limited and vary in quality. Enjoyed the week there and would stay again if we return to the area.
