Brookwood RV Resort — Reviews

stayed at Brookwood in a 40 ft class A towing. Site was 50 amps, FHU, level gravel, with room to park the tow vehicle. The campground is well maintained with a mix of seasonal and transient campers. The campground is larger than it looks and meanders around the ridge. For those that use them, the bathrooms, showers, and laundry are all in excellent condition. There is excellent WI-FI available and it’s needed as there is next to no phone service for AT&T or TMobile. Forget satellite service as it is heavily wooded, but that’s a plus really. The WiFi has a strong signal and superior band width. However it is needed as there is next to no phone service for AT&T or T mobile. And you can forget satellite service as it is heavily wooded, but that’s a plus really. Be sure to follow the directions sent by owner about check in as the turns are tight, but Mark will assist with where to unhook tow and help with the back in. Mark(owner) is a hoot and an encyclopedia of info on upper NY and Ticonderoga area…use him as a guide as the restaurant options are limited and vary in quality. Enjoyed the week there and would stay again if we return to the area.

Clean and maintained site. Entire campground was welcoming. There was a band Saturday evening. Pool area was awesome. They help you to your site and owner even assisted us pulling out onto highway as the traffic can be crazy on that stretch. We will return here, if ever back in the area!!

We had a wonderful time connecting with friends at Brookwood! The landscaping, the pool area and the camp store are beautiful! The owners are very responsive and friendly. The sites we were in were a little small/close together, but everything worked great at our site. In terms of kid/family friendly info- The gravel roads are tough for kids who like to ride their bikes around the campground, and the playground is tiny and does not have a lot of amenities, but they have a great giant connect 4 and giant chess game at the pool that our kids enjoyed. It was quite rainy for most of our stay, so we just did lots of crafts and games in the camper and had a lovely time.

We will be going back. Owner Mark was very nice and very helpful. Quite Place to camp. Our daughter loved the Scavenger hunt.

Very clean park and friendly staff. The pull thru site’s are a little close but well maintained and level. We stayed for 5 nights while exploring the area. Easy access and follow the directions in to the RV Park, especially if you have a big rig.

The campground was very neat and well landscaped. The owners were very nice and helpful. It was a wonderful stay!

Owner is warm and welcoming. Sites are clean, level and plenty of room for a nice long travel trailer. Perfect spot as a home base for visiting the north end.
