Small older campground but,nice. Everyone there was curtious and helpful. A special shout out for Candy. Check in was so smooth. We will be back.

We had waterfront site F11. The sites are small, and hard-packed gravel. No picnic tables at the sites, either. The pictures on the website do not accurately show the sites as they actually are. There was scarcely any room to set up our 10X10 canopy so we'd have a dry place to sit and eat other than inside a hot camper if it rained. Also, no shower house, at least not in an obvious place, and small single-stall bathrooms so there were regularly lines of people waiting to get in them (to their credit, the bathrooms WERE clean...). And the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Camp store was reasonably stocked with the basics. Just the campsites where we were located, and the bathrooms, left much to be desired.

Unfortunately we didn't have any wifi because no one was at the campground to register us or give us info about the campground. Since it was raining, there was very little fir us to do.

When we first arrived our reservation was messed up. We originally were given a seasonal spot that was already taken so we had to wait for them to find us a spot. The staff was friendly. On the weekends they have live bands playing which was fun.

We had a lot on the beach. Beautiful view but.... Fresh water at the camp site was yellow and smelly. Lots of trash on our lot upon arrival. There was not a picnic table or fire ring on our lot. Goose poop was all over the beach area.

The lots for tents is by the highway therefore very noisy. No one at reception to welcome us or to give directions, answer questions. Only one person came to see us and only asked whether we had completed the check-in online which we did. He did not ask whether we needed something, if everything was fine. He was just interested in knowing whether everything was in order administratively. No wifi network. Water in the restrooms tastes very bad, even if only to brush teeth and buildings should be better maintained. We have been travelling in the US for about 2 months now and this was our worst ratio between costs (very expensive 40.) vs. quality. We do not recommend.
